In the recent several years, the interest for aural rehabilitation has been rapidly growing. Therefore we must understand the function of hearing aids, the types of referals available for different degrees of loss, and the various rehabilitative measures that are available.
The author tried to explain the function of hearing aids and the electrical characterist;cs were reviewed. Finally, selection and evaluation of hearing aid were reviewed
